Joey O’Connor is an Independent agent at Mid Rivers Insurance Group in our Jefferson City location. He has been a lifelong resident of Jefferson City and also went to Lincoln University to earn his degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Joey has a strong sense of the community and enjoys participating in local events.
Joey has also caught the attention of the media in Jefferson City. Joey was named as “One to Watch” by Jefferson City Magazine, as well as receiving mention in the 2020 City’s Best in the Best Insurance Agent category.
He joined Mid Rivers Insurance Group in 2015 as an Independent Agent, helping clients find a sense of relief in their own insurance needs. In addition to his experience as an Independent Agent, Joey also has expansive experience as an Accounting Manager for a large firm in the Jefferson City Area.
Outside of work, Joey is actively involved in YP (Jefferson City Young Professionals), Chamber of Commerce events, and volunteering.
He currently resides in Jefferson City with his wife Britni, a daughter named Ellie, a son named Wyatt, and their dog Oakley where they like to hunt, fish, and travel.
